yeah, I coulda laid it out better. sorry.

fundtrack t
inner join donor d
 (then donor left join donorgrp dg...etc)
 (then donor left join donorsts ds...etc)
on t.cmpy_code = d.cmpy_code
and t.donor_num = d.donor_num
(then lots of left/inner joins: fundtrack to other tables)

that's the grief. I can get either of the left joins (from donor) working but not both

(hope that makes sence)
