RE: [CF-Dev] Triple DES encryption
Thanks for that, but I don't think this tag does 3-DES? It needs to be Triple DES as the system I'm communicating with is using this.
Thanks,
Chris.

Hi Chris,
would something like this do the trick?
cfx_encrypt_aes256 (Windows CFX Tag)
http://www.cfxtras.com/SalesComponentDetail.cfx?componentid=361
I have used it before and it is very simple to use.
Regards,
Lee

Does anyone know of a CFX tag for ColdFusion 5, which isn't Java based, that can perform Triple DES encryption/decryption? A command line exe would be just as good, as this could be called via cfexecute. I've looked extensively on google and can't seem to find any.
I've tried using CFX_CRYPTO, but this seems to produce much longer ciphertext than it should be. Also when this tag is decrypting ciphertext from other sources, it fails.
Thanks,
Chris.
